Graham started his career as a marine broker at Lloyd’s in London and he has spent much of the past 40 years building and managing insurance businesses throughout Asia by engaging in reinsurance and alternative insurance sales.

As the CEO of Asia Affinity, Graham has been at the forefront of providing growth and protection solutions in the SME and Micro markets throughout the region, including the pilot for this business model.

Andrew started his career with Leslie and Godwin in  1967, where he worked for 20 years. During this time he was involved with the placements of reinsurance programmes from all over the world including the US.

He joined Morgan Read and Coleman in 1987 and this company was sold to Arthur. J. Gallagher in 1996 where he became a senior director.
He is a founding partner of the Asia Affinity Group of companies

Andrew Leslie

Veronica started her career as a direct broker in the late 1960s in KL.  In 1987, she joined Leslie and Godwin in Singapore, placing reinsurance for insurers in Asia.  In the late 1990s she returned to KL to start the Swire Blanch office there and later joined Miller until she retired in 2012.  Having arranged reinsurance internationally for more than 40 years, she decided to join Asia Affinity to serve the smaller communities as per their mission.

Ms. Siow started her journey in Insurance  with a local Malaysian Insurance company in 2006 focusing on various statutory reporting and later joined Green Reach Solutions in 2014 as a Finance Manager supporting finance operations of various companies within the Asia Affinity Group.

Mr. Araki worked 10 years as a trader of derivative financial products at a US-based securities company. In 1998 he began his reinsurance career in a reinsurance company in Germany, working in technical insurance, property insurance, arbitrary reinsurance and underwriting work.

In 2007 he was engaged in reinsurance broker at Aon Risk Specialist, in 2008 he took over as President and In 2009 became representative director of Japan Risk Specialist Co., Ltd.

In 1974 Mr. Akaike Joined Yasuda Marine Fire Insurance (Now known as Japan Nipponkoa Co., Ltd). For over 35 years, engaged in insurance and risk management of large-scale projects such as maritime insurance and plants, mainly in the non-life insurance industry. After retiring in 2009, he assumed office as Director and President on insurance management services Co., Ltd. In 2014 he became an senior advisor to Japan Risk SPECIALIST Co.,Ltd.

In 2003 Mr. Kuroso started working for Aon Risk Specialist Limited, engaging in reinsurance broking, during that time he was appointed as lead broker. Mr. Kuroso worked in Aon Risk Specialist for many years, then in 2008 became General Manager at Japan Risk SPECIALIST Co.,Ltd.

Also, as lead broker at Japan Risk, he Specialises in Insurance and Reinsurance treaty for over 15 years and works directly with Insurance companies, Small Amount & Short Term Insurance (SASTI) companies, Cooperative associations, and Kyosai’s

Alfi has more than 25 years’ experience as a banker, program director, and consultant with particular focus on economic development.  He has director level experience with banks, MFI’s and NGO’s within Indonesia, and is a recognised Indonesian thought leader on financial inclusion and credit expansion.

He is the country Director of Kita Maju Bersama in Indonesia.

Mark Stevens has been working in the marine insurance market since the early 1970’s.

After twenty years as a broker at Lloyd’s in 1993 he moved to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to open an office for a Lloyd’s broker and then in 2003 he moved to Jakarta to head up the office for one of the world’s mega-brokers.

In 2012 Mark was one of the founders of Coastal Marine and is a Director of the Holding Company.

Mark Stevens

Irene started as a Broker in an international reinsurance broking firm in 1998 and later joined Kuwait Reinsurance in KL as a Treaty underwriter for reinsurance business in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan before taking up her current position in 2014. Irene is responsible for placement of Marine Hull, Marine Cargo and P&I facultative reinsurance in the Asia Pacific region. She is the head of the Client Servicing.
